Well I went to the doctor expecting only to hear the heartbeat and do the full physical exam. They couldn't find where my uterus was located by doing the normal palpitations on my belly and couldn't find a heartbeat so they called in the attending ob/gyn.
He brought in a sonogram machine and I got to actually see the baby. I was so excited! The baby was really active and seemed to be doing summersaults. The hands and legs were just moving like crazy. I even got to see the baby sucking on his/her thumb.
It was a cool experience indeed. I have included the pics that I got. I'm not sure that you can discern what they are. I know most people look at them and go it's a blob.
