The Ferrell Clan Christmas

We got to visit for a long weekend with all my family. With our family growing exponentially, the house was quite chaotic. I am glad that everyone was able to come.

Santa's Helpers

I decided to try out the multiburst setting on the camera because I always seemed to miss the best shots. It turned into a cute little storybook adventure.

In the end, I don't think they were too thrilled with us.

Adventures with Hartleigh

We decided to put Logan and Hartleigh in the same seat to see how they reacted. Logan was pretty laid back. Hartleigh was very curious about Logan and kept reaching for him. Eventually she decided that his ear looked pretty tasty. It ended up looking like she was giving him a kiss.

During the course of the visit, Hartleigh continued to be curious about Logan. She even used her skills to turn over and yank the pacifier out of his mouth.

I can tell we are in for some trouble with these two :)

Visit from Steph and John

Steph and John dropped by on their way from North Carolina to Louisiana. They even helped us put together the bouncer seat that we just got :)

We were able to make a quick jaunt to Lucedale for the weekend. Since I don't have any vacation time built up we aren't able to take off the week of Christmas like we normally would. Still we take what we can and hope to see everyone in the next few weeks as we can.

Growing like a weed!

Marty took Logan to the Dr.'s office. It seems our little man is growing like a weed. He's already up to 12 lbs 13.5 oz and 24 inches. We've had to retire some of his outfits already especially the one piece pajama sets.

We bought him a booster type seat called the bumpo. He looks so grown up sitting there. His legs are also getting soo strong. Marty was demonstrating how well he does.

Go State, Go?!?

Ok, so State didn't win the bowl game but we did have some little fans in the wings. We tried to get Hartleigh and Logan in the cheering spirit with mixed results :)

We visited Slidell to see the Goffs. It was the first time Logan had seen Louisiana :) We then visited with Grandma Essie & Grandpa Jimmy.

Hello, West Point

Here's some photos of all of us hanging around West Point. Logan got to meet cousins and uncles he hadn't before.

Just Hanging around with Mom

So Logan had his first full weekend alone with Mom since Marty was in Detroit for work. Here's our adventures. I think he looked soo cute in his robe.

We didn't get many trick or treaters but we did go visit the neighbor accross the street for a while. Logan survived unscathed and was ready for Dad to come home :)

With new babies, the photo places always have have some coupons for new parents. So we took advantage of the free photos that we would get. Of course, I had to order a few more because there were quite a few good poses.

There should be quite a few wallets for aunts,uncles,neices, nephews etc. and a 5x7 for each of the grandparents. Hello Lucedale!

We went to Lucedale this weekend and Logan got to meet all sorts of new folks: Granny, Sarah, Michael, Zachary, William, Annie, Gene, and Diane. Of course, Logan got to see Grandma Essie and Granpa Jimmie too!

It was a nice visit, thanks for the chocolate cake!

Bathtime!

We are still alive, barely! Logan sleeps sometimes for couple hour stretches and sometimes not. He seems to be eating lots. Hopefully I'll be able to keep up with his demand (yikes!). We've had some adventures in bathtime. This was one of our more calm adventures.

Let's go to the Park!

We found this nice park within a few miles of the house. It had a beautiful canopy walkway, a lake, a garden.

We just had fun taking in the scenery. Logan seemed to enjoy it too :) He's becoming every so active and opening his eyes more often. We have had some issues in feeding. Mainly the penicillin I'm taking for the infection has finally seemed not to agree with him. So we are mixing in some formula feedings until I am completely off the meds.
